Case of the Mondays, today in FULL swing!!

Really exciting weekend! Friday went to see probably the best cover band that I have ever seen: Swerve. Now I really cannot stand the faneuil hall scene however on my quest to hang out with more girls I joined my friends. Good choice. Good band. Good Friday night.

Saturday was very interesting to say the least. Since my brother and sister's birthdays were this past week, we all decided to party Boston-style this weekend. Starting off by having an awesome dinner at Redbones and a Guinness at the Burren, we made our way into the city. Since my brother just turned 21 this was his first time out drinking with me legally. I wanted to show Kate and Michael my favorite bar so of course we stopped in at Sully's Tap for a few Brubakers (with lemons, of course). As soon as Kate and Michael found out that the bartenders new me, I think they began to wonder just how often I stopped in for a couple brubakers. haha it was wicked fun. I think that if you have never been to Sully's you should totally hit it up just for the experience. Its wicked awesome. After a couple of beers, we head out to meet Kate's Boston friends. We go to the Harp. The Harp sucks.

let me tell you...

This past Tuesday I went for an early run, 6AM, and spotted a PBR can rolling around on the ground next to the Davis train station. Davis Square still has class. Love it.

Wednesday I swear that Boston was taken over by crazy people. No joke. Every single person on the T was in a real cranky mood. THEN at the end of the day on the way home, I was walking to the 1 to get home and I walked by this lady who was belting her lungs out. I am not kidding you, she was seriously singing out loud walking down the street! But the funniest thing was that it was a Broadway tune, haha I couldn't even hold in my laughter.

To end my interesting day I attended my first yoga class. Now the reason that I have started to attend a yoga class was because I felt that it would relax me. I have lately had serious anxiety, stopped drinking coffee and have started drinking only 3 drinks a night on the weekend. So I figured with such a lifestyle change, I really needed to de-stress. I really didn't know what to expect as I entered the first class. Everyone seemed to be normal, dressed in sweatpants and t-shirts, my kind of crowd. I must say that it was very different. The breathing was the thing that really got me. haha I mean one girl let out a loud moan. I looked really quick because I really didn't understand what was going on. haha I laughed. After what seemed like forever, the class finally ended. Nice first yoga class.

Thursday. Today. Almost Friday aka the weekend. I really think I was happy all day. You really can't get any better then that. Except for Thursday night dinner! Conor, Chris, Betsy and I do dinner once a week. This week it was me and Betsy's turn to cook. Let me just say our dinner was sweet. We made whole made soup, chicken stir-fry and bread! It was wicked good. The boys were happy.

Case of the Mondays

Okay, so it has been a wicked long time since my last blog entry. Mainly because last week was ridiculously loooong and I was tired and not functioning correctly like at all. AND I am trying to quit drinking any caffeinated drinks of any sorts. I have this problem that I like love coffee. So much so I drink too much of it, and yea I need to stop. So basically my week was shambles. Therefore I am moving on.
This weekend = awesome! My sista sista got engaged and I am wicked excited! So therefore we need to start the planning, yay! So today = MONDAY = wicked crappy. FIRST OF ALL I woke up to an apartment that was 48 degrees. I am not kidding you. This issue of having no heat has been going on for like a week, yes I am convinced my landlord is a drug lord and/or pimp. So therefore the housing authority must be called because we don't want any bastard kids running around, haha.
SO then I get onto the wonderful train aka the redline at the wonderful Davis Square! I don't know if it was just me, but there was this lady, probably around the age of 60, pushing and yelling as she got into the car. I was a little confused as to why she was yelling seeing as there was hardly anyone on the train. I looked around and noticed that everyone looked a little goofy this morning. I thought to myself, "somebody has a case of the Mondays," and I just look out the window. When I arrive to Park Street and get onto the wicked crowded B train, I had to hold my breath. Next to me were these two obnoxious girls. First of all they smelt like crap (not really, it was more like the food they must have had that morning, gross). I thought I was going to smell like them just by standing next to them. I literally almost threw up in my mouth. Wicked gross. Secondly, they would not stop talking! I couldn't believe they were talking that loud and that much that early in the morning. I was trying to hold my nose and ears at the same time. It was close to impossible. Therefore I took out my iPod, gave a glaring look and turned up the music wicked loud. That was pretty much my morning. Freakin' Mondays.
